Thrift In The City: Review of The Rink Gallery
Thrift in the City is my review of local Oklahoma City and Metro Area thrift shops and spots to find antique and furniture deals in OKC. This week’s review is of The Rink Gallery in Oklahoma City.
The Rink is an old skating rink turned antique mall with tons of upcycled furniture, antiques, with over 50+ dealers to shop from. I must admit, The Rink was a place I loved to go, but now most of the furniture and antiques have already been “refunked” so it’s not a place to go if you are looking for some crafty candidates.
I did however find some great inspiration for some of my own projects, so at least the trip was not a waste!
Love what they did with this clock! Vintage hymnals = Love!
Love this green end-table!
I have been looking for some old windows, but at $25.00 a pop, it is a little out of my price range. The better deal I get, the lower I can price my pieces to my customers! Maybe a salvage yard?
Sewing drawers for a book holder.
Love this little stool! Maybe if I put Axton in time-out on this he will also pick up speaking French at the same time!
Axton’s best friend, Maxwell, trying on some vintage cowboy boots.
I love a man in boots!
I love a man in boots!
I’m lovin’ anything with numbers lately…
To DIE!
Upcycled Cabinet Door into a chalkboard.
Table turned into a kitchen set! I have seen these on Pinterest and they are even cuter in person!
I need to have a little girl just so I can have one of these!
The owner’s had their dogs in Pack-N-Plays with their own fan! And do you see the Sophie Giraffe?
Hilarious!
The Rink is not the place to go if you are looking to wheel and deal.
See below:
Frankly, this kind of annoys me, but whatever.
The Rink is located at 3200 Rockwell Ave. and is open 7-days a week with live music and refreshments on Sundays. This is a great place to go if you want someone to do the Refunking for you.
OR you can just go to my booth and buy from me! Ha!
Refunk Rating: B-
Happy Thrifting in the City!
