My BIGGEST Giveaway Ever! Enough Paint to Start a Business!
I am packing and frantically trying to get organized to get on a plane to Atlanta tomorrow morning for the Haven 2012 Blogging & DIY Conference. Eeeek. I’m so nervous and excited! So this week is a perfect one to do a giveaway. And this one is a bad-mamma-jamma.
A while back I asked my peeps on Facebook if they thought it would be white trash to do a huge giveaway with all of the latex paint and oil-based glazes that I don’t use anymore. And the response was an overwhelming “Give it away already!”. So today is the day. I have cleaned out my garage and I am giving away every single bit of paint that I no longer use.
Why don’t I use all of this anymore? Well, I am a CeCe Caldwell’s retailer, so it feels a little bit like sinning when I do. Plus, I never realized how toxic some of these products smell. But now that I use CeCe’s that is No VOCs I don’t have to deal with the nasty fumes! Plus I don’t have to sand or prime and I can paint indoors. Really, this list goes on and on as to why I have converted.
These are all great products, and I recommended and used all of them in my workshops in the past. But I can’t go back. So I am blessing someone else who will love these products like I did. It is enough to start your own furniture painting business or knock out a bunch of projects you have on your to-do list. Or, if you don’t win, just go buy some CeCe’s from me and thank me later. =)
Here is the list of everything included in the giveaway. Most are opened cans but who cares when it’s free?

I’m a stay-at-home mom and naptime is my ”me” time, spent in the garage sanding and painting away
Such an addictive hobby but I love it! It’s worth all the time once I see a drab and dated piece transformed! I love saving our family money furnishing our house with pieces that otherwise may have ended up in a landfill. Thank you for the chance to win this amazing giveaway!!!
Happy re-funking!
Hello! I am a merchandiser for Chloe and Isabel, a new innovative fashion jewelry line. I also have been refinishing furniture for about 3 years now. My style is rustic French country and I love finding furniture on the side of the road and in thrift stores and antique markets. I hope to open a store soon and offer classes as well. I love what you have done with Refunk my junk. Furniture repurposing has really become a thing of the times! I would love to win your paints! Good luck and have fun at your conference! I have been following you on twitter quite some time. My name is @MsAntoine2. Thanks!!
I would be estatic to win all this paint. What started as just fun in the barn is turning into an addiction of refunding junk:) My husband is starting to see me actually make some moola with my junk. Unfortunately it is hard keeping cost down with all the supply purchasing. Winning this white trash giveaway contest would definitely make me a happy junkin’ gal!

I am a bit of a control freak who is always looking for the best deal on EVERYTHING! I find that adding my own touch to the things I find on super sales makes me feel more satisfied in the long run. I also like the compliments from friends and family.
(I am now following your blog officially and following you on twitter. In addition I shared this on twitter and on FB, fingers crossed.)
I love to DIY to save money andf to relieve stress. I love to create. I am have subscribed to your blog, shared on FB, and I think I already follow you on twitter, but I am having trouble accessing it this morning to double checki. Have a great day! Thanks for the give a way!
I love to DIY because it gives me a chance to put new life and purpose into a piece that otherwise would be overlooked. It gives me the opportunity to make a statement or accent piece from something that would normally be considered “old looking”. Plus, it always ends up being more special with a little heart and soul put into it. Beats buying it from a big box retailer knowing you did it yourself!
I’m also a follower of the blog and shared the giveaway on FB! Can’t wait to attend the advanced workshop in July!
I liked you on Facebook. Kacie Barnes sent me. She would love to win your giveaway!

I’m so excited about the thought of this giveaway Alli! This is such a cool idea! I love DIY projects because it gives me a chance to feel like I’m living in a little bit of luxury even though I might be broke on any given day. My 19 year old is moving in with his college roommates and now I’m getting to give him a great room makeover for next to nothing… all because people like you are willing to share ideas! The DIY community is the most generous group of people out there. Thanks for the opportunity to win the giveaway!

Just found your blog and I will be moving to OKC soon. Can’t wait to see your furniture in person!
After I bought my first house I started buying old (and often broken) pieces of furniture at garage sales and estate sales. I brought them home cleaned them up, fixed them, and painted them. And 3 years later I’m still doing it!. I love the thrill of the hunt and I love making my vision for the piece become a reality. This paint would make my hobby so much more affordable!!!!
Just wanted to stop in and say how much I enjoyed meeting you at Haven. That was one awesome conference, huh? I can’t wait to look through your site and check out all of your projects.
Regards, Barb
