Most of you know, I was asked to do a painting segment this past Monday Morning Show on our local FOX Channel. I had been planning and plotting all week on what project I would showcase on the show, and I finally settled on a repurposed cabinet door into a serving tray. My CeCe Caldwell’s distributor, Jo Ann, gave me the idea when we were at her house in Texas as we were painting cabinet doors for demos. So don’ t give me all the clever credit, Ok?!
Danielle Dupuy, a reporter and producer, along with a camera-man Jeremy arrived at my house at 5:45am. I was so excited I had woken up at 4:00am so I had my hair Oklahoma big and my makeup ready!
They were both so great to work with, they made me feel really comfortable, and although I was nervous about how my house (which is under renovation right now!) would look on TV, it kind of helped that I was in my element!
Just in case you missed the segments, here are the links to them. It won’t let me download the videos, so your just gonna have to click the links, the old fashioned way…
They asked me to email them some Mother’s Day project ideas so I may get to do this again!
I had so many past students, blog reader, friends, and family, call me and tell me before and after the show aired that they were praying for me, that they watched, and how excited they were for me! Every single one of those calls and emails meant the world to me.
I doesn’t matter how confident someone seems, I can always use the crutch of the support system that is my family, friends, and blog readers! I love you guys – even if we have never met in person!
