Good Day Oklahoma Wrap Up!
I just finished my Good Day Oklahoma segment, rising to the challenge of completing a furniture project for under $30.00! In case you missed it, you can click here and here to watch both segments!
I purchased the Chairs for $10.00 each on Craigslist, then using fabric I found in the remnants section at Fabrics Unlimited for $5.00 I recovered the seat and painted the chair with just one $6.95 sample jar of CeCe Caldwell’s Paints!
Total for the entire project was $18.95… Way under budget! That’s less than a tank of gas!

Refunk My Junk on Fox News!
Big things are going on here at Refunk My Junk! Fox 25 Morning Show is coming to interview me at my house this coming Monday Morning! {insert squealing and excitement here…}
They are going to interview me about my business, workshops, CeCe Caldwell’s All Green Paint, and I even get to demo a project on air! I am so excited and nervous! When they called I almost peed my pants!
I haven’t 100% decided on what project I will tackle on air yet. Plus, as you know, I am in the middle of a home renovation, removing all of the wallpaper from my dining and kitchen. But, besides all of that, I am still over-the-top pumped about this opportunity!
The interviews will be in 4 segments Monday morning: 6:10 a.m., 6:40 a.m., 7:10 a.m., and 7:40 a.m. Even though it’s so early I know I will be wide awake with excitement!
So, what project should I demonstrate in my interview? Ideas and suggestions are needed! What would YOU like to learn from a News interview?

Although the finale was last night, the voting for the Fan Favorite’s Online Show is still going on until THIS Thursday September 15th.

She’s Crafty… Not me, the TV Show!
I am home sick today with a little stomach bug. I’m sure it will pass, and the good news is that it is 2:38pm and I am just now getting out of bed. Perfect opportunity to catch up on my DVR. There is a show on the Canadian HGTV, but the US it airs on the Ion Life Channel called She’s Crafty . It’s about a woman, Wendy Russell, who loves retro, recycling, and saving money by crafting.
Anyway, Wendy from She’s Crafty bugs me.
She wears neck ties… See below.
She looks just like Owen Wilson…
Do you see the similarities? Even her wit on the show reminds me of Owen Wilson! It’s so annoying!
I wish I could post a Youtube video on here to show you for yourself, but I can’t find one anywhere! So you will just have to tune in for your self!
Oh, one more thing. Even though I watch her show I have never done one craft on there! She is pretty retro and that is not my style, so maybe that is why. But alas, I keep tuning in and I don’t know why!
