A Shopping Trip at Hobby Lobby

I made a trip to Hobby Lobby this week to place a bulk order of knobs for my Mini-Workshop this weekend.  While I was waiting for my fave Hob Lob employee, Mindi, to find out if the warehouse had enough of the knobs I was looking for, I decided to peruse the isles and see if there was anything that I just couldn’t live without.

I don’t shop at HL much for my own personal home, mainly because I do about 89% of my home decor shopping at the two retail stores where I carry my paints and furniture.  But HL definitely fills a need for many of my craft projects and, just in case you were not aware, their knobs and drawer pulls are now always 50% off! 

Here is the proof…

I was actually impressed with some of the home decor they were carrying.  I guess I don’t look that much because I expect to find only resin Fleur De Lis, but I was pleasantly surprised!

Here is a few note-worthy items I spotted…

I love this glass owl pitcher – very Anthropologie inspired.  I actually own this from Axton’s Owl Themed birthday party last year.  My BFF and my mom bought it for me when I was having a melt-down the day before the party when all of my Etsy party supplies I ordered still had not shown up.  Thanks gals. 

I also spotted a 90% off section!  I didn’t find anything, but might we worth a trip to check it out.  You know I love a good deal.

Some cute Chevron frames. 

They have added some new fabrics to their selection.  I have used this one on several chairs and I was only able to buy it at a more expensive, boutique-type fabric store.  I will be using it again at 30% off!

I like these modern Ikat patterned pillows.  I bought the center one for my guest bedroom makeover I am working on.  My guest bedroom is the room formerly known as the hoarding room.  Can’t wait to reveal it to you!

HL is a great place to get inspiration for future craft project.  I saw these cute drawers.  This is a great idea if you see an ugly dresser at a garage sale and you can just snag the drawers. 

Line them with scrapbook paper and slap a fab knob on it and now you have some adorb storage! I could see some Little People or crayons being stored in these.

And I bought this purdy little peacock for my kitchen. Here she is. I guess I am on a peacock kick?  I love how it compliments the colors of the dishes I have on display.
