Back in July I blogged about one of the first pieces of furniture I purchased for Shepherd’s nursery, the Pogo bookcase. One of the main things I loved about this piece of furniture was how it served three purposes in one.
This piece of furniture does triple duty as a toy box, a bookshelf, and a nightstand. It can even convert to a foot board for a twin size bed when paired with the Pogo twin headboard.
When Sauder challenged me to find three ways to use this piece of furniture I didn’t want to let them know how easy it would be since this piece is so versatile!
This piece of furniture would also make a great addition to any playroom. Housing board games, blankets, books, and anything kiddos need to get their play on. And if a dedicated playroom space is a luxury in your home (like it is in mine!) a few adult accessories can make this piece fit right in to a main living area. A dedicated corner for kid’s toys is exactly what I need to keep my living room neat and tidy!
For this challenge I couldn’t help but sneak in a little styling for a tween girl’s bedroom since I don’t have any girls to decorate for in my household! The Pogo can easily moves from infant, to kiddo, to tween. Switching out the toys for much needed storage can make keeping a space clean that much more easy! Can I get an Amen to that?
I change my furniture almost as much as I change my underwear and I don’t see me getting tired of the Pogo Bookshelf anytime soon! What’s your favorite way to switch things up in your home? Is it rearranging or swapping out accessories? If you love functional furniture follow my Pinterest board to see how to easily switch out furniture throughout the rooms in your house!
